Over the past 29 years, Kate has perfected her signature single-batch toffee, carefully honing every step to ensure the perfect buttery texture and rich flavor. What started as a family holiday tradition—making toffee for friends and relatives—has blossomed into Kate’s Single Batch Toffee, a small-batch, handcrafted confectionery business based in Marin County.

In 2020, when holiday gatherings were canceled, Kate began shipping her toffee to loved ones near and far. The overwhelming response inspired her to turn her passion into a business. Today, Kate’s Toffee is available in multiple local stores and continues to be handcrafted in 2.5-pound batches, keeping the personal, artisanal touch that started in her family kitchen.
